Priceboard

Privacy policy

Last updated 16 October 2026.

Priceboard is an app for making menus and price lists, run by Hamza Rabi (“we”). This policy explains what the app and the priceboard.app service collect, why, and what you can do about it. Questions: hello@priceboard.app.

Your menu

The menus you make, with their photos, are kept on your phone. When you publish one, the app saves it as a PDF and a picture in your own Google Drive and makes those two files readable by anyone with their link, so customers can open them from your QR code. They go straight from your phone to Google: we never receive or store your menu.

Google Drive

The app asks for access only to the files it creates in your Drive (the drive.file permission). It can’t see your other files. That access stays on your phone and is never sent to us. You can remove it at any time in your Google account’s settings, and delete the files from your Drive yourself.

Priceboard’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your account

When you sign in with Google or Apple to publish, we keep:

We use this only to run your QR codes, show you their scans, and, if you agreed, to contact you about Priceboard. We don’t sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it for ads. There are no ads or tracking tools in the app.

People who scan a code

When someone scans a code, we add one to that code’s count for the hour. We don’t keep who scanned, their address or their device, and we set no cookies. Their phone then loads your menu from Google Drive, which Google handles under its own privacy policy.

Who else handles data

Our service runs on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect it, and may keep them briefly in its logs. Sign-in is provided by Google or Apple.

Keeping and deleting

We keep your account while you use it. You can delete it in the app, or by emailing us: we then delete your account, your QR codes and their scan counts. Your codes stop working, and the files in your Drive stay yours to keep or delete.

You can also ask us for a copy of your data or to correct it, by email. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, and you can complain to your data protection authority.

Children

Priceboard is made for businesses and isn’t meant for children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and its date, and tell you in the app about important changes.
